given the porcelain pieces are filled with color, and clean shape; there was no better way as to complement them with food that would not compete, therefore the artisanal bread loaf along with luxious figs, blueberries and organic milk were the best choice due to the fact that luxury is overrated.

This pieces are made of recycled porcelain, their essence relies in honesty, purity and coherence… in order to communicate that visually there was necessary to complement them with products that shared that same essence. Therefore, food in its most honest way is when raw… dusty flour, butter, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt… simplicity at its best
It is official, we won the 1st place award at the Bienal of utilitarian ceramics hosted by the Franz Mayer Museum.
The pieces will be exhibit from September 8th to December 4th at the Museum in Mexico City, then they will itinerate to other places through out the country.
This year conference hosted by Erick, was different… for the past seasons there were mainly 2 trends;
but this time, after a long research, it’s all about one: Summatory
For the previous seasons, an easy way to understand te trends was through aesthetic terms. However,
this time the essence of this ‘summatory’ concept goes beyond pure function, form, materials, etc., it’s
about strategy.
